


Greetings from Heather Walk Sales & Leasing committee. The following basic information is provided in order to facilitate a smooth closing. In conforming with Heather Walk Condominium Inc. governing documents and Florida State Statutes, Chapter 718, the association requires an application before purchasing or leasing a unit. Waiting can delay the timing of your closing and or move in date.
Processing an application normally takes under the 30 days allowed by the Heather Walk governing documents. In some cases unforeseen circumstances may require some applications to take longer. You will be contacted upon determination of approval or denial. All adult applicants 18 and over must submit a fully completed, dated and signed application and application fee. If leasing all adult applicants 18 and over are required to be listed on the the lease agreement.
Upon receipt of your application and application fee, you can expect and hereby authorize Heather Walk Condominium Inc. to: (1) check your credit report; (2) verify your employment; (3) verify your previous landlord references; and (4) perform a criminal background check. We would encourage you not to apply if you have bad credit; bad references; have ever been evicted in the past or have a criminal record. Failure to obtain approval before taking occupancy can result in legal action to evict & the association will pursue you to recover legal fees.
